CE Requirements for RNs
Total Hours Required: 15 | Mandatory Hours: 15 | Renewal Cycle in Years: 2RNs must meet two of the following three criteria every two years for renewal - employment minimum number of hours 320 in the biennium; 15 contact hours of continuing education in subjects appropriate to the practice of each individual nurse; 15 contact hours of professional activities.
1.5 hours must be related to the prevention of medication errors.
