CE Requirements for RNs

Total Hours Required: 30 | Elective Hours: 24 | Renewal Cycle in Years: 2

All RNs in the State of Nevada who wish to maintain an active license are required to complete 30 hours of continuing education for license renewal.

For initial licensure, RNs must complete:

  • 4 hours of bioterrorism

For license renewal, RNs must complete:

  • 2 hours of cultural competency. This training must be approved by Nevada, Nurse.com cannot be used to fill this requirement
