Meet Nurse Alice

ALICE BENJAMIN, MSN, APRN, ACNS-BC, FNP-C

Alice is a family nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, TV medical correspondent, host of the Ask Nurse Alice podcast, and founder of AskNurseAlice.com, a trusted go-to source for health and wellness Information.

Nurse Alice has over 25 years of extensive experience specializing in cardiovascular health, critical care, and emergency medicine. She started as a CNA and then became an LPN. She continued earning higher degrees, with an ADN, a BSN, and an MSN in nursing education to become a clinical nurse specialist, and then became a post-MSN nurse practitioner. She currently practices as an NP in emergency medicine. Previously, as a CNS she was responsible for new grad orientation, onboarding, and ongoing training for nurses in critical care and hospitalwide quality and safety education on various topics. She’s also served as associate nursing faculty.
