Financial stress can contribute to burnout, decreased concentration, and reduced professional satisfaction in healthcare. When financial concerns compete for attention outside of work, they may affect focus, decision-making, and long-term well-being. 

This webinar provides foundational education in financial literacy and wealth-building principles that support professional stability, sound judgment, and long-term career sustainability. We will explore practical strategies for saving, budgeting, and organizing personal finances, and how financial clarity supports focus, resilience, and professional performance. Attendees will leave with practical insights and tools they can apply immediately to improve financial organization and support informed personal and career decisions. 

Learning Objectives

  • Describe the relationship between financial literacy, professional stress, and decision-making in nursing practice.
  • Identify foundational strategies that support financial stability and professional resilience.
  • Identify effective approaches to budgeting and saving that reduce financial strain and cognitive burden.
  • Utilize financial organization tools to improve financial literacy and support informed professional decision-making.
  • Explain how improved financial literacy supports safer practice, focus, and long-term engagement in nursing. 

Continuing Education Credit 
This nursing continuing professional development activity is approved for 1.0 contact hour. Credit will be awarded upon successful completion of the program and submission of the course evaluation, if completed within 90 days of the activity.

Provider approval by the California BRN is recognized by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
