Patient care assistant (PCA) sounds like the perfect position for you. Contact all area hospitals and express your interest. Ask about openings and in-house training provided. Also ask whether they have any recruitment events or employment ?open house? events scheduled that you could attend. Additionally, you might look into becoming a certified nurses aide (CNA).
If interested, you also could contact rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, and other types of care centers.
