Pleasant Hill, Calif. — Several nurses at Hospice of the East Bay have received certification from the National Board for Certification of Hospice & Palliative Nurses.
The board awarded certificates to nurses Emily Barrett, Diane Marie Coughlin, Beth Gaines, Katherine Garvey, Gail Griffith, Faye Higashi, Angela Miller, Judith Miller, Georgianna Minard, Cynthia Seibert, Margaret Truman, and Elenita Viloria.
Silvia Cuellar and Elizabeth Guitas also became certified as hospice and palliative nursing assistants.
