About Cheryl
Cheryl VanParys, BSN, RN, is a critical care registered nurse in a medical ICU, where she has served with dedication for nearly 11 years. She began her nursing career in 2015 on a telemetry/medical‑surgical unit after graduating in December 2014 with her BSN. She is a board‑certified RN and holds her PCCN certification, reflecting her commitment to excellence in progressive and critical care nursing. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her clinical skill, calm leadership, and unwavering advocacy for her patients and colleagues. Originally from the Houston area, she is the proud mother of two children, ages 16 and 23. Outside of work, she enjoys life with her two golden doodles, Morelly Roo and Sir Bentley Bear, who bring joy and personality to her home.
