Responsibilities

To provide and assist with delegated tasks of direct and indirect resident care. To assist with activities of daily living, promoting the highest practicable level of physical, mental and psychosocial well-being for the rsident. To have a working awareness of state and federal regulations. Responsible to provide direct care duties in a timely manner, interact politely and professionally with residents, family members, visitors, and staff. Cross trained to float to other areas of Charter House.

Qualifications

Previous experience not required, but must be 18 years old.

Previous experience with the geriatric population is preferred. Must be able to work independently. Requires good communication and human relation skills to interact with  residents and staff. Strong problem solving skills are necessary. Must be able to adapt to unpredictable situations and stress. Works varied hours which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends with rotating days off
Nursing Assistant Certification required and must be listed on the MN Nursing Assistant Registry
