Position Summary
Summary:
The Pharmacy Intern will assist in the advancement of rational, patient-oriented drug therapy. All their duties and tasks, as outlined below, will be under the supervision of a pharmacist. .
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
Education Required
• Must complete in-house orientation program
• Applicant/incumbent is currently enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy program.
Experience And Skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Speaks, reads and writes English
• Hospital Pharmacy experience is preferred but not necessary.
License/Certifications
•New York State Intern Permit.

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn
• Responsibilities may require admixture of chemotherapeutic agents.
• Responsibilities may require prolonged periods of standing.
• Responsibilities may require the occasional lifting of heavy boxes.
