Currently, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has an opening for a Clinical Transplant Specialist (Job Number 30280).

The Clinical Transplant Specialist in the Bone Marrow Transplant and Cell Therapy Department assists in the coordination of the pre-transplant evaluation of patients from acceptance to admission and their donors from selection to collection.. Provides assistance in the search and identification of appropriate donors for patients needing a bone marrow transplant. Assists in the coordination and development of educational materials and programs. Position has a dotted line reporting relationship to the Nursing Executive/CNO. Coordinates with supervisor and Nursing Executive/CNO to ensure consistent institution-wide compliance with standards of nursing practice.

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30p.m.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • RN required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two years nursing experience.
  • Bone marrow /stem cell transplant and/or pediatric oncology preferred.
  • Must possess a current Tennessee State Board of Nursing license if primary residence is Tennessee or a Nurse Licensure non-Compact state.
  • Must possess a current State Board of Nursing license in the state of primary residence if the state is a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
