The Nurse Practitioner under the supervision of the attending anesthesiologist works collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team. Provides pre-anesthetic screening care for patients both in the outpatient clinic and the inpatient setting and addresses both acute and chronic issues in optimizing patients before scheduling for anesthetic intervention. Documents and evaluates patient data; coordinates patient care with ancillary clinical services; makes appropriate referrals to consulting medical staff; provides follow up to referring physicians.
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30p.m.
