Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates seeks a Site Nurse Leader for our Quincy Ob-Gyn Department. This is a part-time, thirt (30) hours per week opportunity which will be both clinical and managerial (14 hours providing clinical care and 16 hours as Nurse Leadership). As part of the leadership role and managemetn team, you will be supervising nursing staff, managing projects, and providing team leadership for departmental initiatives in collaboration with supervising physician and department manager. Under general supervision, the incumbent is a practicing Nurse Practitioner with a minimum of three years experience working in Ob/Gyn Women's Health.
With this position, the incumbent functions as a member of a department's management team. Acts as a mentor and role model to professional staff within the department of reponsibility and works collaboratively with Specialty Nurse Leaders, Chief in partnering sites and other managers as well as provides direct clinical care within a designated practice. This position reports to a Specialty Nurse Leader and maintains accountability to the Practice Administrator. Working knowledge of organizational systems and operations preferred but will train the right candidate who is seeking the next challenge in his/her career.

Educational requirements: Graduate of a state-approved Nurse Practitioner Program. Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree strongly preferred. Current license to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Must also hold state authorization to practice in the expanded role. Must possess and maintain or be eligible for Mass DPH Controlled Substances registration and DEA registration.
