Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Outpatient Pre-natal Diagnostic Center has an opening for a Clinical Expert aka Registered Nurse IV (Charge).

In accordance with the hospital and nursing departments’ mission, vision and values, the Registered Nurse IV promotes service excellence and creates a safe patient and family focused caring environment by providing overall leadership in the delivery of patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care. Ensures excellent, efficient, safe and effective quality care through responsible clinical, quality and human capital management. Fosters an environment of collaboration and respect with physician colleagues, nurses, healthcare team members, patients and families.

Performs NST’s. Assists MD with procedures. Reviews and prepare charts for patient visits. Complete NST reports and route them to physician. Educate patients w/regards to Prenatal Diagnosis Screening Program.

Follow-up on blood tests and ensure that physicians are notified of abnormal findings. Provide case management to patients. Coordinate case care for patients. Perform 1st and 2nd trimester blood draws for the Prenatal Screening Program. Perform other duties as required.

Qualification Requirements/Preferences:
Education Certifications/Licensure Experience Physical Abilities
BSN, Specialty Certification preferred, current CA RN license, AHA CPR/BLS required.

Experience:
Five years experience in OB nursing — high risk and/or labor and delivery. Ability to multi-task. Must demonstrate good leadership skills and have ability to lead team. Must have good interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands:
Standing, sitting, walking, lifting as required.
