At least two years of clinical nursing experience required
Overview:Coordinates functions and activities related to a single departmental function. Position is responsible for a clinic unit. Position coordinates the scheduling efforts of the unit RN's. Acts as liaison person to internal and external customers (i.e., pre-hospital providers, medical and nursing staff, hospital administration). Responsible for developing and implementing plans/processes for meeting regulatory requirements. Trains and mentors staff.
Special Skills:Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effectively implement change and assist with the management of departmental budget. Must be able to independently make decisions in high-stress situations.
Minimum Requirements:Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school. Two years relevant clinical nursing experience. License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona. CPR. ACLS required upon orientation completion. NRP required upon orientation completion. Advanced Fetal Monitoring must obtain within six months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications: BSN. Management experience with two years supervisory. Certification in specialty area of practice preferred. ~IND |
