In this role you will be responsible for a group of participants in a population to triage and enroll in a plan of care which ensures quality care while providing cost-savings initiatives. Promote quality care and improve material and neonatal outcomes through triaging for appropriate interventions and services in identifying risk factors and providing focused education.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
* Registered Nurse with valid, unrestricted state nursing license
* 3+ years of OB/maternal child health nursing and/or 2+ years medical Case Management or insurance experience is required.
* Knowledge of benefits negotiation, diplomacy, health promotion and training is required.
* Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills. Ability to maintain relationship with participants to foster good communications.
* Strong customer focus with a dedication to providing superior customer service as evidenced by QA call monitoring and Case Management satisfaction survey results.
* Proficient in MS Office applications and internet based programs
Candidates must be available to work an afternoon/evening shift with a Saturday rotation. Flexible 8 or 10 hours shifts are available.
