Associate Nurse Leader-Pediatrics/Kenmore
As the Associate Nurse Leader-Pediatrics @ our Kenmore location, under general supervision, the incumbent is a practicing Registered Nurse with supervisory/management responsibilities within the designated clinical department. May also provide leadership support to departments without an Associate Nurse Leader on site. In collaboration with supervising physicians, directly supervises RN and LPN staff supporting the specialty when assuming additional responsibilities. Functions as a member of a department's management team. Acts as a mentor and role model to professional staff within departments of responsibility. Manages projects and/or provides team leadership for departmental initiatives. Works collaboratively with Specialty Nurse Leaders, Chiefs in partnering sites and other managers. Provides direct clinical care within a designated practice. Reports to a department Chief and maintains accountability to the Practice Administrator and Specialty Nurse Leader.
Experience - External:
Graduate of a state-approved school of nursing. Bachelor's Degree required. Master's preferred. Nursing experience in Pediatrics' required. Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated clinical experience in Pediatric Ambulatory setting. Nursing supervisory/leadership experience required.
Requires current/valid RN license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
