Position Description
A Nurse Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating treatment and clinic areas. Duties include coordination of patient care, scheduling of clinical staff, ensuring quality patient care, and promoting staff growth and development. Delivery of patient care is individualized relative to age/developmental, psycho-socio-cultural patient treatment needs.
Requirements:
RN licensed in Pennsylvania, or immediate eligibility.
- A Bachelor of Science Degree (a Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing ' BSN - from an accredited institution is preferred. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
- At least two (2) years of clinical nursing work experience. Emergency Department experience is strongly preferred.
- At least one (1) year of direct people management/supervisory experience.
- Good oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Emergency Room Nurse certification (CEN) and/or union experience is desirable.
