Oncology Case Manager
This position is responsible for providing education via telephonic communication for participants in biopharmaceutical educational programs, in order to achieve program goals and positive outcomes for a given population
* Presents defined and scripted education to individuals related to their identified health condition per biopharmaceutical educational guidelines
* Supplies emotional support to individuals as appropriate
* Builds trusting, respectful and empowering relationships with participants
* Uses various forms of communication to present information in a simple manner and confirms participants’ understanding
* Evaluates the participants’ understanding and modifies education points per biopharmaceutical guidelines to reinforce their participation
* Interacts with participants via scheduled and unscheduled contacts
* Provides complete, accurate and timely documentation of all clinical issues
* Maintains current clinical knowledge for appropriate management of assigned cases.
* Encourages participants to regularly review treatment medications and side effects with their health care providers.
* Participates as a member of the designated team with an overall focus on meeting team goals and maintaining a positive work environment.
* Demonstrates effective analytical and problem-solving skills
* Periodic business travel in own state could be required as well as periodic travel to other remote locations outside own state may be required.

Skills
The ideal candidate will possess the following:<p>* Registered Nurse with a current, unrestricted state license and ability to obtain to obtain multi-state licensure * 3+ years clinical practice experience with oncology background We value teamwork, accountability and trust.
