RN - SPECIALIZED SERVICES (AMBULATORY SURGERY CAS DAYS)

Provides direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care, and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care. Must demonstrate a willingness to be flexible, be team focused and have the ability to work in a challenging and fast paced clinical environment.  Understands fundamentals of information systems and has a working knowledge of computer use and concepts.

Basic Qualifications:Current California RN license required.

Minimum Qualifications: Two (2) years RN experience in the OR required.  BLS for Health Care Provider from the American Heart Association required by start date. Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English, excellent interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:  BSN preferred.  One (1) year experience in Ambulatory Surgery Center preferred.
