Provides safe, age-appropriate patient care, and functions as advisor, resource, preceptor and leader for other members of the patient care team. There are two Clinical Leaders in the Operating Room. Clinical Leader I is responsible for the following services: General, GI, GYN, GU, MIS, Vascular, and Thoracic. Clinical Leader II is responsible for Ortho, Podiatry, Neuro, Plastics, and ENT.

Requirements: Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field; Accredited School of Nursing. 4 Years experience in specialty area. Practice within Perioperative Services; 3-5 years experience; Basic computer skills; Maryland Registered Nurse License; American Heart Association CPR Certification; ACLS(PACU only); PALS - PACU; BLS certification; Certification - OR/PACU within 12 months of hire.
