The Operating Room Nurse in the Nursing-Surgical Services Department works in collaboration with patient-care team members. The perioperative nurse will provide patient centered care related to the surgical patient. This includes preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care, and education of the patient and family/care-giver. The Operating Room Nurse will also perform an assessment of each individual patient, surgical procedure, and anticipates the needs of the surgical team as well as maintain an antiseptic and safe surgical environment and provide appropriate nursing care post anesthesia surgery. Work Schedule: M-F, 6:45-3:15 plus on call
