Job Description:
RN (Specialty), Staff Relief, Endoscopy Suite.
A registered nurse who, after additional education and/or training is specialized in perioperative, perianesthesia and/or endoscopy nursing practice. Provides direct nursing care for pediatric, adolescent, adult & geriatric patients. Works directly with physicians in planning and implementing patient care. Acts as a resource to peers and as preceptor to new employees. Maintains RN II competencies as defined by education council. Under direction of Director of Surgical Services provides direction and supervision of surgical technicians and other ancillary staff.
Experience:
Certifications: BCLS and ACLS required.
Licenses: Current FL RN required.
EXPERIENCE TRAINING:
Experience/training in O.R., Pre/Post Procedure, endoscopy.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
AIDs update required.
