Please Note: At this time, we are only interviewing Nurses with at least 3 year of RN experience in an Pediatric Emergency Department setting.
Position Responsibilities:Become a member of a team of extraordinary professionals in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the pediatric emergency patient. The Staff Nurse (RN) takes exceptional care of children by coordinating and leading the patient care team in the assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care in accordance with the guidelines and standards of nursing care as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act. Provide direct and indirect care to children and lead the patient care team toward goal achievement. Coordinate and direct care given by other team members. Address system issues to facilitate the provision of quality efficient care. Delegate appropriately to other team members.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must posses a current State of New Jersey RN license.
- A minimum of three year of pediatric emergency nursing experience preferred.
- IV certification, B.L.S., P.A.L.S., A.C.L.S, preferred
- Basic Arrhythmia Course and Critical Care Certification ENPC preferred (or obtained with in year of employment)
- Excellent communication skills, leadership ability, time management and problem solving skills required.
