| Job Details: | - Associates Degree required/Bachelors Degree preferred - Certification Required - Licensed in the State of MD or Compact State (RN) - Computer skills required - Customer service skills required - Good communication skills required - Recent experience in the specialty area is required General Summary:Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates comprehensive program of care for the wound, ostomy, continence care of patient and family/or support persons in the inpatient, outpatient and home care settings. Participates in the Interdisciplinary Plan of Care for patients of all ages with wounds, ostomies, or continence. Participates in and supports Quality Improvement Programs. Supports the mission and philosophy of Holy Cross Hospital and the Division of Patient Care Operations.
Minimum Requirements:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. CPR certified within probationary period. Graduate of an ET Nursing (wound, ostomy, continence (W.O.C.)) Education Program that is certified by the Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurses Society - an Association of ET Nurses, BSN preferred, but not required. Demonstration of acceptable performance in administering medications according to Holy Cross Hospital's standards within the probationary period.
Experienced bilingual candidates, who, in addition to English, are fluent in speaking, writing and interpreting Spanish, French, Portuguese or Mandarin Chinese are strongly encouraged to apply. | ||
