The Manager - Clinical Research Operations - RN position provides overall coordination of the research efforts of multiple principle investigators at the Division level. Manages the workflow to numerous subordinate positions including, but not limited to, Clinical Research Associates. Works directly with principle investigators to ensure that all internal and external regulatory agency policies, procedures, practices, and law are adhered to by all clinical research personnel within the Division. Serves as second level supervisor for Clinical Research Associates. Must have extensive experience in management of clinical research and have a background that may include patient care, biostatistics, data management, and/or clinical research. Carries out broad assignments with minimal supervision. Uses independent judgment and experience to solve all but the most complex problems. Position has a dotted line reporting relationship to the Nursing Executive/CNO. Coordinates with supervisor and Nursing Executive/CNO to ensure consistent institution-wide compliance with standards of nursing practice.

Other Credential Requirements: Certification in clinical research from the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA) or the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) must be obtained within one year of assuming the position.
