St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, located in Memphis, Tennessee, is a premier center for research and treatment of potentially fatal childhood diseases, including cancer and certain blood, genetic, and immunodeficiency disorders.

Currently, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has an opening for a Clinical Research Associate RN 1 (Job Number 18632).

The Clinical Research Associate RN in the Epidemiology Department operates under general supervision. Performs data abstraction, collection, and entry to support clinical research. Prepares submission for all reportable events. Develops, maintains, and/or monitors case report forms. Ensures compliance with prescribed interventions and evaluations of the assigned protocol(s). Provides data to the collaborating research organization or study sponsor. Prepares data reports. Provides patient care, education, and management.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from a school of nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Two years of clinical and/or research experience required; Clinical research experience preferred.
  • Must possess a current Tennessee State Board of Nursing license if primary residence is Tennessee (LC:RN-TN) or a Nurse Licensure Non-Compact state. Must possess a current State Board of Nursing license in the state of primary residence if the state is a Nurse Licensure Compact state (LC: RN-MISS or RN-AR).
  • (LC:SOCRA or ACRP) Certification in clinical research from the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA) or the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) must be obtained within three years of assuming the position.
