New York League for Early Learning, a member of the YAI Network, has a current need for a School Nurse at one of our preschools working with children with special needs located in the Bronx (near Fordham University).

Responsibilities include:
- Administer first aid on site to all children as well as staff
- Administer authorized medications to the children when necessary
- Maintain all medical and immunization history records for children and staff
- Serve as a resource for families regarding medical/dental services
- Participate in case conferences when medical issues need to be addressed
- Provide training for families regarding first aid, personal safety and emergency care
- Provide training for new and current employees in areas of Infection Control

Requirements:
- New York State RN license required
- School Nursing experience required, including experience working with families
- Minimum of 3 years experience in pediatric setting
- Good administrative / computer skills
