POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Clinical Supervisor is accountable for unit performance by directing all the activities associated with operations, supervision, staff development, patient care delivery. and clinical outcomes. Functions collaboratively and uses independent judgment to provide high quality care by assuring appropriate staffing on a shift basis or more as indicated by patient acuity and census. Is responsible for providing clinical nursing leadership to unit staff and may provide direct patient care. Requirements: BS in Nursing and/or equivalent education/experience demonstrating clinical proficiency. At least four (4) years current registered nursing experience in an acute care environment. Two (2) years supervisory experience preferred. Specialized Training: OCN preferred; Registered Nurse with current California License,BLS card/ACLS required. Microsoft Office Applications and HRIS systems.
