Develops, implements, evaluates and revises policies and procedures pertaining to the philosophy, function and scope of Nursing Education. Coordinates the design, implementation, revision and evaluation of orientation programs for all levels of new nursing staff members and acts as a resource in structuring clinical orientation for all new nuring personnel. Schedules and participates in the implementation of the monthly Nursing Orientation program. Develops, facilitates and assists with the coordination of competency validation. Additional reponsibilities available upon request. Qualifications Florida RN license required. BSN required or completion within 3-5 years of employment. MS preferred BLS and ACLS certification required. Minimum of five years of acute care nursing practice or practice in OR.
