Job Summary

The Level II Clinical Nurse cares for complex patients and participates on a multi-disciplinary team to improve the quality of care in the clinical area.



Minimum Education:  Diploma/Associate/BSN degree in Nursing.



Requirements:  Minimum 1 year experience as a practicing registered nurse.  Current AHA CPR certification and licensed to practice professional nursing in Colorado.

Department Marketing Statement
The primary focus of the CCU is to care for acutely ill adults. The CCU provides care and monitoring for patients who require intensive nursing and medical care. Patient population includes pre-transplant, CHF requiring close monitoring or vasopressor support, acute MI, unstable post interventional cardiology procedures, patients requiring invasive monitoring, ventilator support, intra-aortic balloon pump, continuous renal replacement therapy, and those patients who are critically ill. In addition, CCU cares for patients undergoing procedures where sedation is utilized and close monitoring is required.
