   WINTER RN REGISTRY (Temporary Float Pool position--No Benefits) Our Lady of the Resurrection Medical Center5645 West Addison Street (at the intersection of Addison & Central)Chicago, IllinoisWe are seeking experienced RN's for our inpatient Winter RN Registry, floating primarily to Med/Surg and Telemetry units. The Winter Registry is a temporary position, and runs from October 2009 to May 2010. So you're free to enjoy the summer without the registry commitment! The Registered Nurse (RN) practices within the scope of the Illinois Nurse Practice Act to ensure the delivery of comprehensive, high quality, individualized nursing care, based upon knowledge and experience, the nursing process and leadership skills.   Must have graduated from an accredited School of Nursing and have a current Illinois RN License. BLS required; ACLS for telemetry units. At least a year of recent med/surg or telemetry experience. Must be able to attend hospital and nursing orientation before beginning work schedule. The Winter Registry requires at least 8 shifts per month including at least 2 weekend shifts per month. Would also be required to work at least one winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day or New Year's Day). Our Lady of the Resurrection Medical Center is conveniently located in beautiful Portage Park on the northwest side of Chicago. The hospital features a 264-licensed bed main building with a nearby professional office building, a convenient radiology center and an extensive outpatient services center. An enclosed skybridge connects the hospital to the parking garage for walkway convenience and safety.
