General Summary:Provides clinical social work services within the Emergency Department. Services are provided to enable patients and significant others to more effectively deal with the impact of medical and/or psychiatric illness, or disability, on individual and family functioning. Assist in the finding of satisfactory solutions or adjustments to medical, social, emotional and financial problems related to illness or disability which may interfere with access to and use of medical care, taking into account patients physical or age-related needs. Required:Masters degree in Social Work or Counseling. The position requires experience in crisis settings and knowledge of mental health issues. Basic Life Support certification (AHA). Prevention and Management of Assaultive Behavior (PMAB) Annually. Preferred:Oregon LCSW or LPC license or candidate who is LCSW or LPC eligible. Someone with previous night shift experience who is passionate about working at night. Shift:12 hour night shift, Friday to Thursday work week.
