Vision:As people of Providence, we will provide aconnected experience of carebuilt on a foundation of clinical excellence.General Summary:The Manager of Hospice Access Services provides leadership to coordinate and administer efficient and effective delivery of clinical care and clinical support services to the end of life care patient. This includes responsibilities in ongoing operations for Intake, Access and Triage. Also responsible for Evening and Night Shift Hospice clinical services throughout the Portland Metropolitan area, and patient scheduling and fiscal accountability for select components of department's operating budget. In conjunction with supervisors, develops and implements all policies and procedures for Hospice, both department specific and those that apply to Home Services. Facilitates collaborative working relationships within Hospice and programs within Home Services. May represent Hospice to all publics, internal and external. Upholds all of the standards of Providence leaders. Required:Current Oregon RN license. BSN. Minimum 3 years management or administration experience. Minimum 3 years medical/surgical nursing, preferably experience in end of life care. Must have valid driver's license, auto liability insurance, and reliable transportation. Experience with clinical information systems. Preferred:Masters in Nursing or related Health Care field.
