Job Description: 
The Employee Health Services Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care and medical management of Fairview employee health needs at work. The nurse performs pre-placement examinations, immunizations, first aid assessment and treatment, initial incident and accident investigation, routine return-to-work assessment.
 
Job Qualifications: 

 
Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program. Current RN license and CPR certification. 2 years experience in occupational health nursing or area of nursing requiring independent nursing skills (i.e. college health/school nursing, ER nursing, etc.). 2 years of occupational health nursing experience preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Computer literacy preferred. Ability to handle unpredictable work flow and crisis situations. Able to work independently and possess decision making capabilities and problems solving skills. Knowledge of Workers' Compensation, ADA, FMLA, infection control and related employment practices. Current CPR certification. Able to work with employee from a variety of backgrounds and cultures in an adult employee health setting. COHN-S desired.
