Nurse Clinician - Home Care Infusion Therapy

Teaching and Educational RN role in Children’s Home Care Services to provide patient/family infusion and enteral inpatient education prior to discharge, provide home visits, and follow-up calls.

Required skills:current patient/family education background, strong and current pediatric assessment skills, experience as a participant in a interdisciplinary team, and experience with the use and management of central lines (PICC lines, ports, Hickmans/Broviacs). Additionally, requires flexibility, adaptability and experience functioning in  dynamic work settings as patient care needs shift. Minimum of 2-3 years RN experience, valid WA State RN license, current BLS for healthcare providers (American Heart Association Health Care Provider, American Safety and Health Institution Professional Level or American AED/CPR Association - Professional Rescuer) and ability to perform CPR are required.  Requires valid WA State driver’s license, proof of auto insurance and use of personal vehicle is required on the job.
Preferexperience in home care as well as skills in starting peripheral IV’s and management of outpatient infusion administrations. Background in pediatrics, hematology/oncology, chronic care such as diabetes, and/or rheumatology strongly desired.


Hours: (1.0 FTE), Day/Evening, 10 hour shifts (4 Days a week including some weekends) + call.
