Student Nurse - Multi-Trauma Critical Care

Our Student Nurse position provides you with valuable hands-on experiences in a unit based setting. Available to you as early as your junior year, the Student Nurse role allows you to master basic nursing skills and develop effective communication and organizational skills while providing nursing support in a variety of acute care clinical settings.

Nursing care is provided within a Relationship-Based Care RBC delivery model which embraces the belief that the relationship between the nurse, patient and family supports the foundation for a positive patient care experience.

Qualifications for the Student Nurse include:

? Completion of a Fundamentals of Nursing Course or equivalent Must be currently enrolled in a nursing curriculum.
? Certification as a Nursing Assistant in Maryland www.MBON.org
required prior to interview
? Recognition as a student in good academic standing
? Two letters of recommendation from clinical instructors
? Official Transcript
? Prior patient care experience preferred
