Job Description: ICU - RN II, ICU JOB SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
Under the direction, guidance and supervision of the Nurse Manager or designee, the Registered Nurse is responsible for professional nursing care for a designated number of critical care patients and provides direction and supervision to non-professional and professional personnel in providing direct patient care. Able to prioritize care for multiple patients, accountable for the assess, plan, implementation, evaluation of the adult and geriatric patients. Demonstrating the ability to work with patient's growth, develop, psychosocial needs specific to each population being served, and meets standards of quality as measured by the PI process. Assumes delegated team leader and/or resource nurse responsibilities as assigned.
Experience: POSITION REQUIREMENT - CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE
BCLS required. ACLS required. Current Florida RN License required.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION/TRAINING/SKILLS
G.E.D./High School Diploma (Required) Associate degree (Required) Bachelors degree (Preferred)
EXPERIENCE TRAINING:
ADN or diploma in nursing required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing desired. 2-5 yrs critical care experience.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
Current knowledge of specific clinical setting and specific technology related to area of specialization. Ability to read, comprehend and write English.
