Job Description:  Summary of Essential Job Duties:
Clinical Partner under the direction of a licensed care giver and after education and demonstration of competency, performs a variety of direct patient care activities or tasks specific to the unit/needs of the patient population. Assists patients with feeding, walking, transferring and personal hygiene. Performs procedures such as dispensing/retrieving bedpans, using skin care products/pressures relieving devices and applying anti-embolic hose. Reports observations and outcomes of activities performed. Records and reports vital signs.
 
Education and Work Experience Preferences:  Educational Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.

License/Certification/Registration Requirements:
Basic Life supports Certification and nursing assisting certification or has fulfilled the requirements for EMT certification in the state of California.

Experience:
One-year experience in the delivery of health cares.
