| The Program Coordinator - STROKE is a member of the service line team responsible for the coordination of care from admission to discharge. The Program Coordinator serves as a resource to staff, the inter-disciplinary team and community caring for the patients within their specific area. The Program Coordinator demonstrates knowledge and skill in the care of patient with the diagnosis specific to the service line. Skills in the area of critical thinking, interpersonal communication, conflict management, problem solving, autonomy and decision-making are highly desirable. The Program Coordinator would maintain QA/Q data with goals of achieving clinical excellence, including obtaining certification/accreditation requirements, as applicable. Provide timely data input and data management. Assist in the development of policies and procedures, order sets and pathways to improve quality of care and program development.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Arizona State RN License (or compact state), BLS and five+ years of clinical experience required. 2 years of leadership experience, prior program development and neuroscience experience strongly preferred. CNRN preferred or within one year.
