Plainview Hospital is an acute care community hospital with 246-beds.  The facility treats patients with a wide range of medical, surgical, obstetric and gynecological conditions.  The hospital also houses an MRI, one of the most sophisticated diagnostic tools available today.  "Suite Beginnings" offers LDRP's (labor-delivery-recovery-postpartum suites), which make the entire birth experience more personal and comfortable for the entire family.  The hospital has an active same-day surgery program and a busy Emergency Department, which is a designated Level II Trauma Center featuring a chest pain emergency room.  The latter is a separate area where patients with cardiac complaints are assessed immediately.

• Minimum one year of recent ED experience required.
• ACLS/BLS certification required.
