Job Description:
Under the coordination of the Hospice Team M and in conjunction with the Hospice RN case manager, the RN Hospice per diem nurse provides nursing coverage for assigned patients in the absence of the RN Case Manager or during periods of high census when a per diem RN is assigned a new caseload. The Hospice RN per diem nurse is responsible to provide Hospice nursing care to all levels of Hospice care; routine home care, nursing home, assisted living, and inpatient Hospice care.
Job Requirements:
RN, BSN preferred. A minimum of one-year experience in Medical-Surgical Nursing. Community Health, Hospice or Oncology nursing strongly preferred. Sits for the CHPN national hospice and palliative care board certification within first year of employment or after one year of hospice experience.
