The Director functions to ensure that departmental patient care services are in compliance with care standards as well as state, federal, and accrediting body regulations. Involved in developing/revising policies, procedures, and guidelines as appropriate.  Ensures proper utilization of financial resources including developing/monitoring departmental staffing and operational budgets. Monitor and maintains favorable quality and service outcomes while addressing/correcting identified opportunities for improvement. Collaborates with organizational departments and disciplines to ensure care quality, patient safety, operational effectiveness/efficiency, and favorable fiscal outcomes.  The director is responsible for the professional development and morale of the service teams and has a close working relationship with the leadership team and the medical staff to effectively meet system goals, organizational goals and all pillars relating to the Medical, Neurology and Oncology Departments.  

To qualify you must have:
•    Current Florida RN licensure
•    Bachelor’s required; Master’s preferred
•    Medical Oncology Nursing experience
•    Prior leadership experience preferred
•    BLS and ACLS
