Under the direction of the Department Director, performs a variety of direct patient care, works collaboratively with the health care team, is customer focused, and strives to meet unit and hospital goals. Provides quality nursing care according to established practice standards and guidelines for the areas assigned.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING, and/or EXPERIENCE
Licensed in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse. Previous hospital experience preferred in area specialty.

REQUIRED LICENSES and CERTIFICATIONS
Licensed in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse. Advanced certification field of specialty / expertise encouraged. BLS certification required, ACLS certification required within 6 months of employment. PALS / ENPC certification required within 6 months of employment. TNCC required for all full-time and part-time staff within one year of employment (required for PRN employees at Director's discretion).   

OTHER REQUIRED SPECIAL SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE
Demonstrates theoretical and clinical expertise and the application of knowledge thereof, in the assigned specialty. Participation in professional organizations encouraged. Good interpersonal communication skills and customer service skills. Must become familiar with hospital computer system.
