The Assistant Nurse Manager directs and supervises nursing care functions and activities for the purpose of ensuring the competent delivery of quality patient care. He/she implements, educates and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, standards and regulations for personnel, patients, medical staff, and the public. The Assistant Nurse Manager 's primary role is to take charge of nursing personnel, however, they may take patient assignments whenever business or operational needs dictate, in order to deliver high quality patient care.
Qualifications
· Minimum Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred:
· Minimum two years as a staff nurse, previous charge nurse experience preferred.
· Basic Computer Skills.
Required Licenses/Certifications:
- Current Registered Nurse Licensure by the Florida State Board of Nursing.
- BLS Certification - American Heart Association.
- ACLS Certification - American Heart Association.
