1. The Nurse Aide II, under the supervision and/or direction of a Registered Nurse performs routine duties in caring for hospitalized patients.
2. Performs and exhibits sound judgments and technical skills for NA II in nursing treatments and procedures as assigned.
3. Insures comfort and safety of patient at all times, observing and reporting to nursing staff pertinent observations about the patient condition as appropriate.
This per diem position works 7p-7a as needed.
Qualifications
Current North Carolina NA I and NA II certification by the State of North Carolina. Must maintain NA I certification with the Division of Facility Services in the State of North Carolina. Current CPR certification.
Graduate of accredited NAI and NA II programs
1 year acute care experience as NA I preferred. Must have history of satisfactory performance in delivering direct patient care as NA I.
