Job Description:
Summary: The Clincial Systems Communicator/ Patient Care Assistant (CSC/PCA) provides clerical and system coordination and support for the Infusion Clinic. The CSC/PCA facilitates communication with physicians, nursing staff and ancillary personnel. This position operates all aspects of a fast-paced clinic. This includes a high degree of patient interaction, utilization of patient informationand billing systems, creation and management of patient medical records, creation and maintenance of the department schedule and triage of a high volume of patient calls. As a PCA will perform routine service duties and assistive tasks necessary to provide for care, comfort and safety of patients while under the supervision of the RN. Other duties as assigned.
Licensure:State of Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Certification required.
Education: High School graduate (or equivalent).
Experience: Experience in the use of computers, medical terminology, typing and office equipment in order to fulfill established quality standards of the job.
