Job Description:
Summary: The Vascular Access Registered Nurse is a practitioner who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, supervising, and evaluating nursing care specific to infusion therapy for an identified group of primary patients.
Licensure: Requres current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ direct patient care in a medical/surgical clinical setting. Minimum of 1 year’s experience in infusion therapy delivery to patients. Successful completion or completed organized program of study on infusion therapy.
PICC/midline certified or certification to be competed within 6 months of hire.
