Pool Position will work as needed. Varied days 7am-7:30pm. Varied Weekends. Completion of a nursing program from an accredited school of Nursing. Current State of Florida Registered Nurse license required. Current BLS and PALS cards from American Heart Association required. Previous RN experience in a Hospital Acute Care setting within the past three years required. Must have at least one year of previous Pediatric RN experience. Previous Hematology/Oncology experience preferred. APHON chemotherapy and biotherapy preferred. CPON/CPHON preferred. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to deliver care in accordance with the principles of patient and family centered care. The professional registered nurse is accountable to plan, coordinate, provide, intervene and evaluate the care of assigned patients based upon the treatment plan, nursing standards, nurse practice act and individual patient needs. Each professional registered nurse participates with the inter-disciplinary team to establish
an individualized plan of care for each patient.
