Oncology RN/Infusion Therapy Patient Navigator

Are you ready to be the voice of expertise, support, tranquility and outreach?

You have an exceptional understanding of medical/radiation oncology and the infusion therapy journey. You are able to reach out to patients, explaining things in a way that resonates, and makes their fears dissipate.  Surely those talents make you an asset to patients, but at Holy Name Hospital you can be a resource in other ways, and become a respected member of our Cancer Center team.

The Holy Name Regional Cancer Center, part of Holy Name Medical Center- a comprehensive 361-bed acute care hospital in Teaneck, NJ-offers a level of cancer care that is unsurpassed in Bergen County - and in some cases available in only a handful of places elsewhere in the world. Housing some of the most sophisticated technology, the center is staffed by an exceptional team of physicians (Medical Oncologists/Hematologists, Radiation Oncologists), Nurse Practitioners, Oncology Certified Nurses, and Radiation Therapists united in the fight against cancer.

Working in collaboration with this dedicated team, you’ll answer questions about disease-specific concerns, and impart education, emotional support and oncology nursing assessments to patients and families. You’ll navigate patients through their treatment, enlightening and unburdening them along the way.  Our ideal nurse will also participate in, public health fairs, outreach and media/marketing events that broaden the Regional Cancer Center’s impact to the NJ community at large.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing school, along with two years clinical experience in Oncology Nursing and Oncology Nursing Society standards. We prefer a BSN or MSN and Certified Oncology Nurse credentials (if not, must be qualified to take the certification exam within one year of employment. )

You like to treat cancer patients as if they were members of your own family. We feel that way too, so join our eminent and compassionate team.  Please emai nursingcareers@mail.holyname.org.
