That is what it takes to assume the key duties of this vital role with Ambulatory Services at the University of Maryland Medical Center — a major teaching hospital and regional referral center for the state of Maryland, and beyond.

Our Otorhinolaryngology Clinic provides care to patients presenting for treatment of conditions related to ear, nose and throat, as well as head and neck diagnoses. The clinic receives approximately 1200 patient visits per month. As Nurse Manager, you will oversee a staff of RNs, Medical Assistants and Clerical staff. Other areas of responsibility include management of the operating budget, clinical monitoring, and staff selection.

We seek an RN, with a BSN, and Masters in Nursing or a related field, or completion of a Masters degree within two years of assuming the role.  Clinical background in ENT, or Ambulatory nursing is preferred. Current or previous management experience is also preferred. Advanced certification is a plus. The successful candidate will have a commitment to service excellence through creation of a compassionate and caring environment that provides a positive, and memorable patient experience.
